What is CAN?
CAN is the abbreviation of Controller Area Network. In the early vehicle application, the CAN network took BCM (body controller) as the control center, mainly body parts (wipers/headlights/windows…), with less intelligent hardware, So the early normal CAN network put all other ECUs in the Other ECU.
Each CAN bus is generally composed of a twisted pair consisting of 2 wires, one can_high and one can_low, representing high level and low level respectively, and four ECU control units are connected to one CAN bus.
